Waste Management

Why Waste Management
Waste management in Mauritius is a growing concern, with the country’s only landfill nearing full capacity. Poor practices contribute to air, water, and soil pollution, as well as increased GHG emissions. Recognizing its responsibility, PBL has invested in waste management initiatives both island-wide and internally—focusing on Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and innovative technologies. The company continues to improve its approach through close collaboration with key stakeholders.
