There is no country in the world that is not experiencing first-hand the drastic effects of climate change. Greenhouse gas emissions continue to rise, and are now more than 50 percent higher than their 1990 level.
Further, global warming is causing long-lasting changes to our climate system, which threatens irreversible consequences if we do not take action now.
Climate Action
Climate change is caused by anthropogenic emissions of CO2 and other greenhouse gasses. Climate change impacts natural and human systems globally through the increase globally averaged surface temperature, extreme weather events, changing precipitation patterns, rising sea levels and ocean acidification.
These risks will ultimately impact people’s livelihoods, particularly marginalized groups such as women, children, and the elderly, as resources, food and water become more scarce. Those effects impact the other SDGs and often make it more difficult to achieve them.
Evaluating our carbon Footprint and subscribing to this exercise enables Phoenix Beverages Group to implement more sustainable strategies with regards to our business purpose.

- Facilities improvement for our operations to reduce our environmental footprint

- Creation of a circular economy for plastics to achieve a situation where all of our primary packaging can be collected, recycled and reused
- Set up sorting bins as much as possible around Mauritius
