AFFORDABLE AND CLEAN ENERGY(SDG 7)
Phoenix Beverages group has revamped its production lines to improve energy efficiency. Our objective is to set up a long-term sustainability plan (inclusive of fossil energy reduction and responsible management of other resources). Energy management is a current area of focus, with the goal of identifying projects to reduce our use of fossil fuel.
Energy audits are being conducted across our production sites to understand and quantify energy use. This will guide our decisions on energy efficiency and climate change commitments. The implementation of the Top 10 Energy Tools Initiatives is still ongoing and the latest update shows 60% completion.
In 2021, we partnered with GreenYellow Indian Ocean to play a positive role for the environment by finding energy saving solutions. Through this joint venture, we also signed an Energy Performance Contract with the organisation. GreenYellow has actively deployed energy efficiency solutions as well as power reduction techniques within the productions of Phoenix Beverages Group.
