Clean Water & Sanitation

Water scarcity affects more than 40 percent of people, an alarming figure that is projected to rise as temperatures do. Although 2.1 billion people have improved water sanitation since 1990, dwindling drinking water supplies are affecting every continent.

Safe and affordable drinking water for all by 2030 requires we invest in adequate infrastructure, provide sanitation facilities, and encourage hygiene. Protecting and restoring water-related ecosystems is essential.

Clean Water & Sanitation

Sustainable Development Goal 6 (SDG 6) is to achieve universal and equitable access to safe and affordable drinking water for all

Rain Water Harvesting is a medium to ensure water savings potentials. To be able to go through this process, different means and options of water savings are being analysed regularly to provide a sustainable way of saving water.
This underlines the ongoing operational and technical means being put in place to push forward the commitment of Phoenix Beverages Group to respect environmental efficiency on water management.
We thrive to reduce our water consumption footprint through important projects and implementation of facilities to save and to recapture as it is of utmost importance to PBG, H2O being our most important raw material / ingredient.

Goal Targets

  • Implement a corrective action plan to our water Source Vulnerability assessments (SVAs)
  • Careful planning and monitoring of water availability and use
  • Revamp production lines to improve water and energy efficiency
