Who We Are

PhoenixEarth Initiative is the sustainable pole of Phoenix Beverages Group to becoming a key player in the ecological and environmental development in the Indian Ocean.

This initiative is the spine of our environmental activities, which are an important part of Phoenix Beverages Group’s engagements.

Coming up with innovative ways to contribute towards a sustainable future for our island is our priority. This can be done only by understanding the growing issues around the impact that resources can have on the environment. We understand that the engagements and implementations need to start internally through our business model firstly.

Therefore, promoting PET recycling, RGB, responsible drinking, using green solar energy, saving water, fostering sports and education are the goals of PhoenixEarth Initiative. By becoming more responsible through our business strategies, we can start to make a change externally as well.

It is a platform that connects Mauritius’ various stakeholders and people to foster a plastic circular economy, green stewardship, initiate and engage human beings in a clean environment lifestyle.

This platform was initiated by bringing together a pathway through the collaboration of various NGOs in Mauritius and Africa who share common goals. The PhoenixEarth Initiative’s platform allows individuals or businesses to:

Help us in spreading the word for a cleaner Mauritius
sharing-best-practice
Share the best practices in their organisations and from all around the world
Propose solutions towards material recovery through circular economy including recycling
track-your-recyclables
Bring at your disposal a “Track Your Recyclables” system which allows you to locate any collecting bin location through google earth in Mauritius.

We make use of the international best practices to support our causes such as European Union, World Economic Forum, The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), United Nations and Ellen MacArthur Foundation. We share best practices, encourage advocacy, and get the best results.
