The UN stated that roughly half the world’s population still lives on the equivalent of about US$2 a day. And in too many places, having a job doesn’t guarantee the ability to escape from poverty.

This slow and uneven progress requires us to rethink and retool our economic and social policies aimed at eradicating poverty.

Our activities create jobs and support the businesses of our customers.

We are a significant employer and taxpayer; making a positive contribution to the economic growth of the countries we operate in.

Our ethical approach to business and sustainable supply chain practices includes measures to support human and labour rights.

Since COVID-19, we took actions to provide support to our customers to help them recover after lockdowns and confinements.

  • Build resilience to survive the financial and economic risks, based on past track record and sustainable development initiatives in place
  • Keep our LIBA certificate renewed
  • Provide training, learning and development tools to ensure adherence to required standards
