The launching of the PhoenixEarth Initiative
The Official launch of PhoenixEarth Initiative was held on Monday 13th December at the Mauritius Glass Gallery in Phoenix, in the presence of the minister of environment, Honorable Kavydass Ramano. PhoenixEarth Initiative is the sustainability pole of Phoenix Beverages Group, which aims to become a key player in the sustainability development in Mauritius.
The launch was also marked by a cheque remittance ceremony. The Coca-Cola Foundation (TCCF) remitted a cheque of USD 150,000 to the NGO Mission Verte for its upcoming project of creating a collection system for PET bottles in different regions of Mauritius. This initiative falls in line with the sustainable goals of TCCF.
